Loughborough Crematorium was built for the Borough of Loughborough in 1960 and was dedicated by the Lord Bishop of Leicester.
We are here to help you with whatever you would like for the funeral service. Our dedicated and caring staff treat every family with dignity and respect. At the service we will be there to help you every step of the way.
Our buildings were extended and improved in 1993 with extensive refurbishment and a redesigned entrance, which provides families with protection from bad weather. Our All Souls chapel was rededicated in January 1995 and has plenty of room for larger funeral services. We provide disabled access with a wheelchair ramp, Braille service books and a hearing loop system. We are also able to offer the option of mausoleum burials.
As part of our commitment to caring for local families we offer a service time of 45 minutes, which is longer than many other crematoria.
Our tranquil gardens of remembrance are open to visitors all year round. You can choose from a wide variety of memorials, including rose beds and private gardens. Our memorial staff can show you around the gardens at any time and help you to make your choice of memorial. Our gardens are open 365 days a year.
Our opening hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. The building containing the Book of Remembrance is open between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
There is 24-hour access to our gardens of remembrance.
There are 55 parking spaces available (3 disabled).
