About our Little Kimble Chapel of Rest

K Y Green on Marsh Road is our Aylesbury care home encompassing a beautiful and peaceful chapel of rest.

The whole premises are wheelchair accessible with extra-wide doors that are open to you and your family 24/7, all year round. To arrange a visit with your loved one, please speak to our friendly funeral directors.

The peaceful chapel of rest can comfortably accommodate four people and more if necessary and is preceded by a modern and contemporary anteroom where you can take a minute or two to relax if need be.

We promise to look after your loved one with nothing but the greatest respect and care. We have state of the art facilities and a wash and dress area that our Asian and other families are more than welcome to use to perform their final rituals.

We are a short drive from Kimble Cricket Club and Little Kimble Station.

We have a large car park that can accommodate 6 cars on weekdays and 10 on weekends, which you are more than welcome to use.

  • We are a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and as such we abide by The Funeral Director Code. We also have a legal obligation to try and ensure the person who is arranging a funeral has the right to do so, or has permission from those who do.

    If you are aware that someone has been appointed as the administrator, you should only arrange the funeral with this person's agreement.

    If there is no Will or Letters of Administration, then the responsibility would pass to the next of kin.

  • Visiting someone in a Chapel of Rest can be an emotional experience. Our Funeral Directors provide private and tranquil facilities and will be honoured to accompany you if you would rather not be alone.


  • Our Attended Funeral allows you to visit your loved one in our private Chapel of Rest facilities by agreed appointment during normal office hours. Alternative visiting arrangements are also available if you wish to visit in the evening, at an additional cost.


  • You do not have to visit your loved one before the funeral if you do not want to. However, if you decide that you do want to, your funeral director will be happy to make arrangements and can accompany you if requested.


  • Yes, all of our Funeral Directors across the UK will accommodate your religious needs as well as your loved one’s final wishes. If you are arranging a religious funeral, we offer facilities for ritual washing and additional religious ceremony support.
