Our prices include all the essentials

The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.

What affects the cost?

You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. We weren’t sure which funeral directors to choose as slightly out of our area. However, EH Crouch were amazing. From our very first visit, when Jodie put us at our ease and was so understanding and patient with our deliberating, to the actual service when they were in attendance and looking after all the little jobs. A totally empathetic service where nothing was too much trouble. Even as we changed our minds over the details, there was never any anguish, just a commitment to do whatever we wanted for our mum.

Lovely people and a very professional and efficient service.

I would like to thank Jodie and all the team at EH Crouch Baldock for their care and attention taken when arranging my Auntie Angela's funeral held at St Hugh's Catholic Church in Letchworth on Mon 6th July 2026.

The staff there went above and beyond to help me and plan everything due to me living down in Somerset. I was so grateful with the guidance that Jodie gave me and the help given to deliver a beautiful service that Angela would have been extremely pleased with. I was over the moon with the order of service that they created on my behalf and arranged to get printed. So much time and thought was taken to ensure that every detail was covered and this made such a daunting responsibility so much more manageable and what's more, I didn't feel alone in planning it all.
