When someone dies, the first steps will depend on how and where the person passed away. Our step-by-step guides will walk you through the practical steps. For additional support and personal advice, please get in touch with us.
You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.
Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.
If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.
Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.

Unfortunately, my Dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour on the 25th September 2019 and we lost him on the 29th November 2019 at just 59. We cared for him at home and he passed in peace and love with us.
I never thought I would ever have to speak and arrange anything whilst my Dad was still alive, but as he was at home with us when the time came we knew we would need someone to call. I spoke with Rob who shares the same name as my Dad and he was amazing and so kind and caring to my situation. He even said I hope to not hear from you for years and years to come, and that, at that time was a wonderful thing for me to hear. I was advised of what I needed to do should the time come and didn't feel so alone and scared.
When the time came, we met Mark for the first time and he was an absolute gentleman, so respectful to my Dad and I knew he cared and he looked after him and I trusted him and knew my Dad would have liked him too.
Kate the lady in the office was fabulous, she was honest and answered all questions truthfully. My Dad was such an amazing character such a nice, kind and gentle soul, always happy and laughing and she helped us in giving him exactly the funeral service that he deserved. (She also has a beautiful telephone voice!).
The lady who looked after my Dad, please forgive me if I'm wrong I'm sure it was Sue, she spoke to me so kindly when I called to see how he was. She looked after my Dad and washed his hair, he loved being pampered, she went to extreme lengths to make sure he was looked after and I will never forget what you did for me, she even played the Beatles for him when she learned how much he loved music and Dad would of loved that.
I cannot thank you all enough for everything you did for us, If I could give more stars then I would, amazing team of dedicated compassionate staff. The only people I would have trusted with my beautiful Dad.
