About our Sileby funeral home

Welcome to H Towell Funeral Directors in Loughborough. We understand losing a loved one is difficult and are here to help you arrange a beautiful farewell for them. We will work closely with you to ensure every detail of the funeral service is as you want it to be.

Situated on Swan Street, next to the post office, we are easily accessible by road with parking available at the front of our funeral home, and by train with the Sileby train station a 5 minute walk away. You may alternatively prefer a direct cremation, a lower cost and family-led alternative to a traditional funeral. You can choose from a selection of cremation options to celebrate the life of your loved one your own way. No matter what choices you make, you can be sure that the service you receive will be of the highest quality.

Direct Cremations from £995

We are here to guide you through your funeral choices. All Direct Cremation packages include cremation fees, doctor's fees, provision of a simple coffin, transportation of the deceased in specialised vehicles and care of the deceased in a professional mortuary facility until the day of the funeral.

The Unattended Funeral from £995, also known as a Direct Cremation is ideal for those who prefer a simpler affair and those who want to have the cremation now without any attendees, and a service later, on their own terms. Other cremation options include a service with twelve or more attendees, but without the reassuring face-to-face guidance of a funeral director.

Everyone involved were very professional. On the day of the funeral mum was treated with all the dignity and respect she deserved. Everything taking place was explained and all our wishes taken into account.
We appreciated Maggie walking in front of the cars in the road where mum lived, an old tradition we thought had been lost.

Everything was taken care of, no detail was left out. Arrangements were made for evening chapel of rest time by the out of hours team, could not have asked for better. Everything explained and was done when they said it would be done, in a very difficult time, they allowed us peace and empathy.

At a very difficult time for the family we were treated extremely professionally at all times with sympathy, compassion and sensitivity. When we visited the Sileby office Petra was professional but also friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble and, when we kept changing our minds over some aspects, these where handled without any fuss. All telephone calls to the local office and the customer service centre were dealt with professionally with an excellent telephone manner. Thank you.
