Maxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Streatham
About our Streatham funeral home
We have a long history of caring for families, having opened on the Brixton Road in 1842. Back then, undertaking was only a part of what we did, with building and decorating also playing a large part in how we helped people. We used to be known as Maxwell & Sons, until our name changed to Maxwell Brothers in 1879. We now focus solely on arranging funeral services, with a wealth of specialist knowledge and expertise that we will use to help you.
We are always striving to set the bar in funeral standards, so you can expect nothing but the utmost compassion and professionalism from our team as they guide and support you.

Reviews for Maxwell Brothers Funeral Directors in Streatham
We were allowed time for discussion, questions and we were assisted throughout the whole process. There was flexibility right until the day of the funeral allowing my family and I to make any last minute requests or changes. Communication was clear and open and responses whether via email, telephone or in person was always pronpt and reassuring.
We also noted the support the pallbearers gave to my brothers and family members whose wish it was to carry mum into the chapel. The pallbearers acted responsibly providing guidance with each step.
Due to the excellent support we received from Maxwell Brothers, my family and I were able to say 'goodbye' in a decent and orderly manner reflective of our mother and in accordance with her wishes. It was a beautiful service. We thank you for the professional and empathetic conduct of everyone at Maxwell Brothers.
Chris and the drivers of the limousines were good to, all went well.
