Alex Taylor Funeral Directors, Upton
About our Upton funeral home
Our funeral home is on the grounds of the old Saint Mary's Churchyard, round the corner from the Horse and Jockey pub in Upton.
Being there for you is our number one priority, and you can trust us to help you every step of the way.
We understand that every person is unique, and funerals should be no different. We will get to know you, your family and how your loved one lived, so we can organise a truly special goodbye.
We also have another funeral home in Birkenhead, from where we have helped hundreds of families over the past 80 years.
Because our funeral home was purpose built, it has been designed with your comfort in mind. There is a car park at the back of the building and four chapels of rest, so you can spend time with your loved one before the day.

Reviews for Alex Taylor Funeral Directors in Wirral
It is nice to know that we were able to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of a difficult situation and make things easier for you.
The date of the funeral was a challenge as we only had two dates that all members of the family, coming from all corners of the UK, were available. The 1st option turned out to be the day that many road closures would effect Wirral due to the Tour of Britain Cycle Race. The Upton Office was able to appreciate the facts of the situation and explain that the funeral that day was simply not possible. The second option was hastily secured as Upton and Birkenhead staff collectively communicated with all parties confirmed.
At a time of high emotion and the need to deal practically and quickly with unfamiliar procedure I know that the stress was greatly reduced by all at Alex Taylor.
