T H Sanders & Sons Funeral Directors, Richmond

About our Richmond funeral home
We welcome families of all faiths and cultures into our care, and our funeral home is located close by to the places of worship for many different religions. No matter what kind of funeral you want to honour the life of your loved one, we will always be able to help.
Our Richmond funeral home is part of the rich heritage of our local community. It was the first of many funeral homes opened by Thomas Henry Sanders, who is renowned for his impeccable services and kind values. Our funeral home was blessed by the Vicar of St John's Church when it opened on 21st September 1937.
Here is a description from The Richmond and Twickenham Times from when our Richmond funeral home was first built:
"From outside, the brickwork of the new building harmonises with the older part, while the central tower and the plain cross in the brickwork are reminiscent of church architecture... Every night a warmly tinted light shines from the tower... regulated to start earlier as the days grow shorter, so that loved ones will not seem to have been forgotten and left in darkness."
We are always here for you 24 hours a day, so please reach out to us whenever you need to talk.

Reviews of our services
Amy at the undertakers organised everything and kept us updated with regular e mails on meeting her I found her to be very sincere and understanding guiding us effortlessly through the procedures .The celebrant portrayed an excellent life of my late stepfather considering the little information available to him and made time to pass his condolences to my mother .The coffin bearers looked smart and carried out their duties to a very high standards cannot fault the service we received Many thanks to you all for .
We were all so sad to lose our family member but I am so relieved he had a good send off and this was all down to Amy and all the team at TH Saunders.
