My gregarious and much-loved father, Gerard John Lee—known to all as Gerry—passed away peacefully on 1st March 2026 at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, aged 92.
Gerry was a true character and was a familiar face in his traditional trilby hat. He had a dry and sometimes mischievous temperament but was always ready with a story, a laugh, or a friendly word.
Gerry embraced retirement with a sociable spirit. He was a regular at Eaton Socon Bowls Club, the Con Club, supporting the local football club and often seen feeding the ducks and swans in the Riverside Park.
Gerry will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered for the, generous spirit he brought into everyday life, his hand painted Christmas Cards and horse racing betting systems.
He would like you to enjoy a drink on him at St Neots Golf club following the service.
