Our much-loved Tracy passed away peacefully in the early hours of Friday 1 August, in the gentle care of St Leonard’s Hospice in York.
What started as gallbladder pain turned out to be a sudden and devastating cancer diagnosis. It was a short and unexpectedly aggressive illness, but Tracy faced it with incredible strength, courage and grace.
She was a loving and proud mum to Jessica and Oscar, the adored partner of Andy, a devoted daughter to Janet and Mike, and a cherished sister to Louise and Glen.
Tracy was also a much-loved aunty, sister-in-law, friend, neighbour and colleague – someone whose warmth, humour and kindness touched so many lives.
We’re heartbroken, and she leaves behind a space no one else could ever fill.
