Anne passed away peacefully on 1st September, surrounded by her loved ones.
She had battled long and hard with tremendous courage, yet throughout it all she somehow maintained the sunny disposition, warmth and beautiful smile that so many people will remember her for.
Anne was someone who naturally put others before herself. She was kind, caring and thoughtful, always ready with words of encouragement or support when they were needed. Even during the most difficult times, her positivity shone through and she had a wonderful ability to make those around her feel valued and cared for.
Family was the true centre of Anne’s world. She was a wonderful, devoted daughter to June, and an incredible, fiercely caring big sister to her twin brothers, Paul and Keith. She was a deeply loving wife to Steve, and quite simply the best mum to Ross and Victoria. Anne was also immensely proud of her eight wonderful grandchildren, who brought her boundless laughter and happiness.
Anne was blessed with many friends and was a truly popular, much-loved presence in the lives of so many. Her genuine interest in others, combined with her brilliant sense of fun, created lasting friendships that spanned decades.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but remembered with enormous love and gratitude for the happiness, kindness and encouragement she brought into their lives.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne's memory are warmly invited for Make 2nd's Count- a charity that provided her with immense reassurance and support.
Dress Code
Anne loved brightness and warmth. Please wear whatever you feel comforable in ,there is no requirement for traditional black, just come as you feel happiest, which is exactly what Mum would have wanted.
