Trev was born in Oldham on the 12th January 1947 to Leslie and Irene. He had an older sister, Renee, and a younger brother Allan. Trev attended Beaver Street Primary and Junior Schools before going on to Fitton Hill secondary school.
He started work as a panel beater for Oldham Motor Company before passing his HGV license and working for Crown Luggage, Lowfields, Lancashire Dairies, BTS and TTX.
Trev met Sue in in 1964. They married on the 1st June 1968 at St Mary’s Church in Oldham, followed by a reception at the Greaves Arms Hotel. In 1976, Simon was born. Trev had two grandsons, Thomas and Theo.
Trev lived in Oldham up to being 65 before moving to Mojacar, with Sue, for almost twelve years. They returned to the UK in November 2023 where he lived in Wheathampstead.
That’s a very factual account of his life but what you really need to know is, he was a good man. A kind man. He had a wonderful sense of humour. In fact, he was a legend and we miss him.
