Marie sadly passed away at home in the early hours of Friday 2nd January 2026 following a battle with cancer.
A loving partner, cherished daughter, sister, and grand daughter, and a loyal friend Marie was a beautiful and caring young woman who faced her illness with incredible bravery.
Marie loved to travel and her time as a photographer on cruise ships allowed her to visit places all over the world. This time left her with wonderful memories and lasting friendships with fellow crew that she looked back on with great fondness .
Closer to home, friendships made during her schoolyears and as a barista were hugely important to her. Marie's love of crafting saw her spend many happy hours both in their company and alone resulting in dozens of items many of which became small, much treasured gifts for loved ones.
Marie was greatly loved by those who knew her and will be much missed by us all.
