In Loving Memory of Gibbon Manongwa
February 3, 1967 – April 2, 2025
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Gibbon Manongwa, a cherished soul who left us peacefully on April 2, 2025. Born on February 3, 1967, Gibbon’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear.
A devoted father, doting grandfather, loyal brother, nurturing uncle, steadfast friend, and beloved son, Gibbon’s heart thrived in the embrace of family. His family-oriented spirit was the cornerstone of his life, creating a legacy of unity and warmth that will endure for generations. Known for his easy-going nature, he brought calm and joy to every room, effortlessly turning strangers into friends and challenges into moments of laughter.
Gibbon’s strength of character and quiet determination guided his loved ones through life’s trials, earning him the trust and admiration of all who knew him. Dependable to his core, he was the unwavering rock his family leaned on, offering wisdom, support, and unconditional love without hesitation.
Though his physical presence is no longer with us, Gibbon’s spirit lives on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and countless friends. His legacy-forged by kindness, resilience, and an unshakable commitment to family-will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey.
As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life richly lived. Gibbon’s memory will be cherished in stories shared, lessons taught, and the enduring love he planted in every life he touched.
A private family gathering to honour his life will be held in the coming days. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you hold your loved ones a little closer, embodying the spirit of connection Gibbon valued so deeply.
Rest in peace, dear Gibbon. Your light will never fade.
