In loving memory of Anna Ajina (née Konopacka), who sadly died from complications of pulmonary hypertension and scleroderma on 2nd May 2024. A dearly beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and colleague, Anna was blessed with a curious mind and an indomitable spirit. She took on many different roles in life, working as a court translator and interpreter, property developer, entrepreneur and librarian. She adored literature, music, film and art, but her greatest passion was food and she was a truly wonderful and inspirational cook. She was also an avid researcher and self-educator and, despite the difficulties caused by her illness, was never discouraged and left no stone unturned in her pursuit of a cure. Anna was utterly devoted to her children and will be remembered always.
Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend Anna’s funeral service at Ealing Abbey on Wednesday 29th May at 11am followed by a committal ceremony at Mortlake Crematorium at 12.40pm. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at 97 Delamere Road, London W5 3JP after that.
Anna loved flowers and any bouquets will be graciously received. We recommend Zita Elze (zitaelze.com). Alternatively, please feel free to donate to Scleroderma & Raynaud’s UK (www.sruk.co.uk).
