It is with deep sadness that we announce Mavis passed away peacefully on Saturday 2nd May 2026 at Oakbank Nursing Home, aged 95 years.

Beloved wife of the late John Chin, much loved Mum and treasured Grandmother — Mavis was the foundation of our family. She lived a long, full and wonderful life, rich with love and precious memories, shared for so many happy years with John. She was known for her patience, her grace, and her ability to make everyone feel valued and cared for. Whether preparing a meal, tending to her home, or simply sitting and chatting, she brought warmth and joy to every moment. Her gentle guidance and unconditional love have shaped us all, and we are forever grateful for every moment we had with her.

Mavis will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit remains in the love she shared and the lessons she taught. She is now at peace and reunited with her dear John.
