Sadly, on 2 June 2026, Sheila passed away at Scunthorpe General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, following a short stay under the wonderful care of Beech House Care Home.
Aged 79 years, of Barton-upon-Humber.
Beloved partner of Malcolm, much-loved mum, cherished grandma/nanny and great-grandma, and a dear friend to many. Sheila will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Sheila's Life will be held at St Mary's Church, Barton-upon-Humber, on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at 10.30am, followed by a committal at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe, at 12 noon. Family flowers only, please.
However, if anyone would like to remember Sheila with a floral tribute, flowers or plants for her garden would be warmly received at the family bungalow.
Sheila requested that those attending wear colourful, comfortable or traditional clothing.
Following the service, all family and friends are warmly invited to join the family for refreshments and to share memories of Sheila at Charley's Bar, Fleetgate, Barton-upon-Humber.
