My dad, Reginald Henry Jenkins....better known as Reg....or the washing machine engineer, was a fighter to the end, my positive, wonderful dad kept pushing on despite his heart gradually deteriorating. He was still out having a lager shandy at Little Switzerland the Saturday before he sadly passed away on 2nd August 2024, a grand age of 92 years!
He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. The man who always had a twinkle in his eye and saw the best in life.
He had a severe heart problem which resulted in surgery and ongoing medication and was expertly cared for by Lydden Surgery and the Cardiac Team therefore there will be a collection plate for donations to British Heart Foundation, in memory of Reg, available at One Church after the service, or you can donate online below.
