In Loving Memory of Andrew Thomson
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our Amazing Andrew Thomson, on Sunday 2nd August, aged 37.
The loss of Andrew has left a space in our hearts that can never be filled. He was a cherished son, a devoted brother, a loving uncle, grandson and a loyal friend, and someone whose smile, kindness, and sense of humour brought light to so many lives.
Whether through his laughter, his generosity, or simply being there when he was needed most, Andy had a way of making everyone around him feel valued and loved. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the love he gave so freely.
He leaves behind his heartbroken parents, his loving brothers and sisters, nan, nieces and nephews, extended family, and countless friends who will miss him beyond words.
As we try to come to terms with this unimaginable loss, we find comfort in the memories he gave us, the moments of laughter, the conversations, the adventures, and the unconditional love that will stay with us forever.
A celebration of Andrews's life will be held on Thursday 3rd September 2026 at 3.30pm at The Vale Crematorium, Evesham Rd, Fladbury, Pershore WR10 2QR
Everyone who knew and loved him is warmly invited to join us as we honour his life and say our final goodbye.
We ask that you share your memories with us afterwards at Droitwich Rugby Clubhouse, The Glyn Mitchell Memorial Ground, Hanbury Rd, Droitwich Spa, Droitwich WR9 7DU
Family flowers only please. We believe Andy would not want black during his funeral and ask that we say our goodbyes in true Aston Villa style be it a football top or the colours of Claret and Blue. However comfort is a must!
Though you are no longer by our side, you will always be with us in our hearts, our memories, and in the love that will never fade.
