David sadly passed away on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 having enjoyed a strong day climbing in North Wales with his close friend Pete.
He had not long celebrated Helen's birthday with her during a wonderful weekend in Lincoln and had recently returned from a brilliantly successful winter climbing trip to Scotland. Whilst he was an avid mountaineer, explorer and outdoorsman, he was first and foremost a loving husband and an incredible Dad.
David had great respect for the voluntary work Helen did for the Samaritans of Liverpool & Merseyside. In lieu of flowers, any donations to this charity would be appreciated:
