It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eamon Collins, a beloved father, husband, and grandfather. Eamon passed away peacefully on 3rd February at Warwick Hospital, spending his final days surrounded by his family: his wife of 45 years, Maggie; his daughters, Sarah and Hannah; and his brothers, Joe and Kevin.
Eamon was known to friends and family for many things: as a devoted father and besotted grandfather, an avid Chelsea fan, his long career at National Grid, his love of music, a keen golfer, and his passion for the environment and conservation. However, he will be most remembered for his kindness, his generosity, and his notorious humour, which remained even in his final days. He is greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Leamington at 1pm on 11th March 2026 for all friends and family. After the service, everyone is welcome to raise a toast to Eamon at the Elephant and Church pub, 2 George Street, Leamington from 2pm onwards (also signposted as the Town House pub). Full location details can be found below.
There will be a short private service at Oakley Wood Crematorium, Leamington at 2:30pm following the service at St.Peter's. This will be for immediate family only.
Should you have any questions prior to the service, please do not hesitate to reach out to Sarah Collins on 07946382578 or Hannah Collins on 07940543912.
