Alan passed away peacefully at a care home in York, following a brief illness, having recently moved from Horsham to be nearer to some of his family. He was approaching his 90th birthday.
Alan was highly regarded by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Please join us to celebrate Alan's life at a funeral service at Worthing Crematorium, and/or for tea and cakes at the family home in Horsham after the service. Please let us know if you will be attending the service and/or the gathering.
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway was important to Alan because of the many happy visits he made there with friends and family.
