It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Greenwood (Don) announce his sudden passing on Saturday 3rd May 2025 at the age of 94
Don will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Julie; grandchildren Lee, Shaun; great-grandchildren Matthew, Thomas, Elena, Aliya and numerous other friends and family members.
Don was predecessed by his wife Doreen, Parents Jess and Norman, his son Richard and his best friend Olga
A celebration of Don's life will be held on Thursday 12th June 2025 at 12:20pm., York Crematorium, Bishopthorpe Road, York, YO23 2QD wit a reception help at 1:15 on the same day at the Marcia Inn, 29 Main Street, Bishopthorpe, York, North Yorkshire, YO23 2RA.
Memorial donations may be made to York Against Cancer a chaity that Don supported, alongside his best frind Olga, for a number of years. This can be done on the day of the service or through the link attached to this funeral notice.
