Our father, Allan, died peacefully on 3 July at the grand old age of 99, following a short illness. Beloved father of Jane and Hugh, grandfather and great grandfather to many and a dedicated citizen of Pontefract, West Yorkshire, he was independent to the end and will be sadly missed.
