It is with great sadness that George's family have asked us to announce his passing and funeral arrangements.
George will be dearly missed and was much loved. His funeral is to take place on Wednesday 28th October 2026 at 11.15am at Ormskirk Parish Church followed by committal at West Lancashire Crematorium at 12.30pm.
George had a long career as a headteacher and is remembered with fondness by many former colleagues and pupils.
All are warmly invited to join Grant after the service for refreshments at O'Briens Tea Rooms, Park Road, Ormskirk L39 3BY. Donations can be made if so desired in George's memory to Dementia UK.
