Mr James Rupert Neville Colver

7th November 1950 - 4th January 2025

No flowers please

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Colver, who passed away peacefully on 4 January 2025, surrounded by love, after a wonderful Christmas spent with his family.

Jim was well-loved by all who knew him, both personally and professionally. A partner at Grice & Hunter, Jim’s warmth and good humour touched the lives of many, and he will be greatly missed by family, friends, and colleagues alike.

A service to celebrate Jim’s life will take place at St Andrew’s Church, Epworth, at 1.15pm on Friday 7 February. Following the service, all are invited to join Jim's family and friends at The Old School Inn, Epworth, to raise a glass in his memory and share stories of a life well-lived.

Family flowers only, please. If you wish to make a donation in Jim’s memory, there will be a collection at the service for the Isle of Axholme Lions, and Isle of Axholme Foodshare Project. Alternatively, donations can be sent to Fields Funeral Directors, Nethergate, Westwoodside.
