Valerie Eva Rush (Val), of Bowthorpe, Norwich, sadly passed away, on 4th February 2025, at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, after a short illness.
Val, was a life long resident, of Norwich. Her interests and hobbies included, watching TV series' and movies, cross stitch, knitting, embroidery, cooking, baking and travelling to different places in the UK. She also enjoyed, spending time with her family and friends. She had previously worked, as a professional knitter and also a cook. Her last employment before retiring, was a cook, at Twin Oaks Nursing Home, in Bowthorpe, Norwich.Val was recently widdowed. John, her loving husband and life long partner of 72 years, sadly passed away, just 5 months previously.
Val leaves 2 sons, Chris and his wife Sue and Paul and his partner Helen, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.Val will be sadly missed, by all of her family and friends.
Family flowers only please but donations, to The British Heart Foundation, in lieu of both Val and John's memory, would be very much appreciated and welcome.
