Eric Ernest Axam passed away peacefully on the 4th of June, aged 99 years. A loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Cheeky and always a true gentleman. He lived life. Legend.
Funeral Service to be held at St Mary’s Church, Ash Vale at 11am, followed by a committal at the Aldershot Military Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eric can be made to Dementia UK’
He was also Private Eric Axam, C company, 4th Battalion Kings Shropshire Light Infantry (4th KSLI), 11th Armoured Division. July 1944 to July 1948. He fought so we might be free.
