Vin passed away peacefully at Bassetlaw Hospital after a short illness, aged 81.

A much-loved husband, dad, stepdad and grandad, Vin was a true gentleman and a devoted family man who loved his family deeply.

Kind, caring and always there for those he loved, Vin touched the lives of so many people over the years. He was someone you could rely on, whose warmth and kindness will be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

Above all, Vin was a family man. His family meant everything to him, and the love he had for them was returned many times over.

He will be sorely missed and leaves an enormous hole in the lives of those who loved him. His loss is immeasurable, but so too is the love, laughter and many precious memories he leaves behind.

A true gentleman, deeply loved and never forgotten.
