It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew, beloved husband of Lesley, devoted father to Matthew and loving brother to Zoë. Andrew was loyal to close friends and family, ever faithful to Chelsea and a champion of causes important to him. He often wrote to our local MP to highlight causes he felt strongly about. We would like to pay tribute to the Hammersmith Hospital renal unit and Ashford and St Peter's Hospital haematology Department whose medical expertise and treatment were instrumental in giving Andrew the additional years in which he was able to see the son he was so proud of succeed both personally and professionally.
There will be a retiring collection and access to an online Just Giving page in lieu of floral tributes to be shared between The Hammersmith Hospital, St. Peter's Hospital haematology Department and the Thames Hospice At Home who supported Andrew, Lesley and Matt during Andrew's final days at home.
Andrew's belief was to wear traditional clothes at funerals so please refrain from wearing bright colours.
Please meet at Cumberland, Middle Hill, Egham, TW20 0JP at 10:00 AM or at Hanworth Crematorium, Hounslow Road, Feltham, TW13 5JH at 10:50 AM.
Please join us after the ceremony at Egham Cricket Club, Vicarage Road, Egham, TW20 8NP for refreshments and to share memories of Andrew.
Additionally if you are unable to attend the funeral there is a link below to a live stream for you to watch the funeral take place. The live stream will go live just before the start of the funeral at 11am.
