Brenda Lofthouse
There aren`t enough words to describe this beautiful soul and remarkable woman.
After 3 years of fighting cancer, with sheer determination, courage and resilience, Brenda passed away at 2pm on Thursday 5th February, at home with all family by her side.
Never once did Brenda complain that life was not fair; her thoughts and reflections are simply:
" I am so lucky to have so many people that love me, everyone is so incedibly kind"
Brenda asked that everyone celebrates her life, so rather than wear Black, please wear what makes YOU feel YOU. She repeatedley said, she did not want people to feel sad but feel happy about life she led.
If you are able, a colour Brenda felt brought joy to a sad situation was YELLOW, so any small dash of Yellow,(a tie, scarf, pocket square, print etc) would be wonderful!
Brenda also asked that in lieu of flowers, people may instead like to make a small donation to support patient care at the Oncology department in South Tyneside Hospital. Donations can be made on the dayof the funeral or by contacting Sarah, Brenda`s daughter, at pavlousarah@gmail.com
