Our darling Lye Lye sadly passed away on the 5th of May 2024, aged 93.
Those that knew her could not help but love her. She was hilarious, caring, compassionate and kind. Every moment with her was filled with joy and it was a privilege to have her in our lives for so long.
She will be truly missed by all her family and friends.
Please join us to celebrate the life of a magnificent, funny and loving angel.
We ask that you wear something pink in honour of our "Pinky Dinky"
No flowers please, but donations are welcome to either St.Christopher's Hospice who supported her and the family in the latter stages of her life (There is a link on this page for them) or Dignity in Dying, who she supported in changing assisted dying legislation. You can donate via their website : www.dignityindying.org.uk and state the donation is "in memory" where you can put Lye's name there. Alternatively, why not plant a verbena bonariensis in your garden in her memory, it was her favourite plant.
