John Michael Firth

Peacefully passed away at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on 5th June 2026, aged 79 years.

John will be fondly remembered for his gentle nature, quiet strength, and the kindness he showed to those around him. A devoted husband and family man, John’s life was centred on those he loved most, and he took great pride in the happiness and wellbeing of his family. He leaves behind his loving wife Lesley, his sons David and Adrian, daughters in law Zoe and Pamala, as well as his grandchildren Amelia, Jake and Abigail, who will cherish his memory always.

A funeral service to celebrate John’s life will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium, Fixby, on Friday 17th July 2026 at 12:30pm. This will be followed by a funeral tea at Elland Golf Club at 1:30pm, where all are warmly welcomed to come together and share memories of John.
