It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia, (Sylvie) Davis born on 29th July 1937. Sylvia passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Friday 5th September 2025 aged 88 years.
Dearly loved wife of the late Wilfred George (Geordie), much loved mam of Barbara, Carol, Alan, the late George and a treasured mother in law. A loving nana and great nana (little nana). A devoted sister, auntie and a dearly loved friend to many.
Would family and friends please meet for a funeral service at St Cuthbert's Church, Redhouse at 10.00am on Wednesday 24th September, followed by committal at Sunderland Crematorium at 11.00am.
Sylvie has requested that everyone wear bright colours and casual, comfortable clothes please.
Flowers are welcome, but donations if preferred would be gratefully accepted for St Benedict's Hospice. A donation box will be available as you leave the church and crematorium chapel.
Sylvia will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.
