Obituary for Tony Molloy (1952–2024)
Tony Molloy, aged 72, of Standish, Wigan, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on March 29, 1952, Tony lived a life marked by deep love for his family. He had a passion for history, music and sport and he was committed to local charities.
He is survived by his devoted children, Katy and Adam and his beloved grandchildren, Evie, Florrie and Nell; along with many other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Tony was known for his kind heart, infectious sense of humour, and an unwavering support for those he loved. Whether he was sharing a story, lending a helping hand, or offering advice, Tony’s presence was one of warmth and reliability. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched.
A private family service will be held in his honour. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, as was Tony's wish.
