Barbara/Barbie Underwood died peacefully on 6th January this year, aged 78. Beloved wife of Simeon, Doctor of Philosophy, founder of the Barnes Philosophy Club, accomplished jazz singer, and citizen of Barnes, she will be sorely missed by her family and her very many friends. "Hard to think of Barbie as finite, really. Seemed she was indomitable."
