It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of John Leslie Bloomfield Ford, who died on 6th January 2026, aged 85 years. Born on 8th August 1940, John lived a life full of warmth and kindness, and he will be very much missed by his family and all those he met throughout his life.
A service to celebrate John's life will be held on Tuesday 10th February at 11:00am(GMT) at Kingston Crematorium. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend. Following the service family and friends are warmly invited to continue sharing memories of John at The Kingston Quaker Centre.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly ask that donations in memory of John be made to either the Prison Phoenix Trust, or to a charity of your own choosing.
