Eleanor Goundry, passed away peacefully aged 88 at St, Clares Court, Care Home on February 6th .
Born in Esh- Winning, Co. Durham, Eleanor lived in Newton Aycliffe for the last 55 years.
Loving wife, of late husband William Goundry she leaves behind 2 children, Anne & Paul, 2 grandchildren, Tahlia & Callum, great grandson Cody, her sister Norah and so many friends.
Dearly loved she was a character who loved life and made an impact on all who met her, and will be sorely missed.
Particular thanks to all the staff at St. Clares Court, Care Home who ensured she had the best life in their care and enveloped her with so much love in her last days
