It is with deep sadness to announce that Roger passed away on Thursday 6th June, aged 76 years.  He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Born and raised in Killamarsh, he later met and married his wife Jo and resided in Chesterfield since 1973, moving to Brimington in 1979.

Prior to his retirement, he was a time served photo process engraver at Eadon Engraving in Sheffield. He then pursued a career as a police constable in the Derbyshire Police Constabulary in the 1970’s, later returning to Eadon Engraving where he stayed for many years before ending his career at Loxley Brothers Printing in Sheffield.
A devoted and beloved family man, his interests included woodwork, DIY, classic cars, buses, motorcycles, art, rifle & pistol shooting at a local club and taking his grandchildren to the R8 shooting range and generally spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves a wife Josephine, daughter Rachel, sons Mitchel and Jerrod along with seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
His funeral will take place at the Church of the annunciation on Spencer Street, Chesterfield on Thursday 27th June, followed by commital at the Chesterfield and District crematorium. A wake will be held at the Holllingwood Hotel.
