Steve sadly passed away on Friday 6th June, a beloved husband, father, papa and friend, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was a keen motorcyclist, a member of the Bristol Ducati Club and enjoyed ride outs on his Ducati Monster. He was also a committe member of the Yamaha Aircooled RD Owners Club and regularly showed his Daytonas at meetings.
Steve was an aircraft engineer in the RAF for 25 years and could identify a wide variety of aircraft from the sound of the engine. In later years, he was employed by the MOD. His time in the RAF gave him the opportunity to travel and he continued to do so, completing his last overseas trip to Copenhagan in February. He even managed a quick detour to Sweden so he could tick another country off his list of places to visit!
Steve's Funeral will take place on Monday 23rd June at 1pm in the Woodland Chapel at Westerleigh Crematorium, all are welcome.
There will be a celebration of his life afterwards at the New Inn in Westerleigh

Steve had been clear that he wanted to spend his last days at his home, and the support of St Peter's Hospice, and their Hospice at Home team, was vital in ensuring this happened. The care provided, both to Steve and to his family was exceptional.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve's memory to St. Peter's Hospice by following the link above.
