In Loving Memory of Christine Anne Ingleson
1957 – 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Anne Ingleson, affectionately known as "Chris", who passed away peacefully on 6th July 2026 at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary after a short illness.
Chris was a devoted wife, loving mother and cherished nanna whose family meant everything to her. She will be remembered for her award-winning smile, her kindness, and her fun-loving nature that brought warmth and laughter to all who knew her. Chris had a wonderful ability to make people feel welcome and cared for, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends and all whose lives she touched.
As this is a celebration of Chris's life, guests are encouraged to dress comfortably. Colours are warmly welcomed, and if you'd like to wear your Doc Martens, Chris would certainly approve. In her own words:
"I'm not coming if I can't have a laugh!"

Two local dementia support groups that Chris attended regularly with Jeff. These charities provided friendship, support, community and many happy moments, and held a special place in Chris's heart. A collection box will also be available at the venue.
For catering purposes, please let Jeff, Vicki or Marc know if you are able to attend. Chris will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
