Ann passed away peacefully in St Michael's Hospice aged 82 years. Beloved wife of Mike, father of David and Helen, and Granny to Toby. The family warmly welcome Ann's friends to join them in a celebration of her life, both at Stonefall Cemetery and The Kestrel.
Please note, Ann asked that people wear colours to her funeral. Feel free to chose your own colours, patterns and shades. If you are attending the service at Stonefall, there are disabled bays next to the chapel (on the left entering from Wetherby Road), some marked bays after the chapel, and parking on the kerbside after the chapel (entering from Wetherby Road).
David and Helen have chosen two charities that cared for Ann and supported the family so well. Marie Curie, are a charity delivering hospice at home. They provided an overnight stay, meaning that a wonderful nurse, called Michael, sat up with Ann all night, allowing David and Helen to sleep well in the house for a night knowing that someone was close at hand when Ann was having a period of restless nights. St Michael's Hospice, who will be the collection in the chapel, was the beautiful and supportive place Ann spent her last days, calmly and well cared for.
