Michael Emery sadly lost his fight to Alzheimer's on the 6th December. He was a much loved husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend, who will be truly missed.
Michael is remembered fondly for his love of the outdoors, always first to suggest a walk, which often turned into a hike requiring polo mints to sustain us.
Binoculars, cameras and nature identification books were never far from his side, and his gardens and bee hives were a reflection of his passion for the natural world. But Michael's true quality was his kind and gentle nature, always putting family and others before himself.
We would like to remember Michael by raising money for the Alzheimer's Society to continue his fight.
