Geoffrey Thomas Knowles sadly passed away on Tuesday 7th May 2024 at Sandwell General Hospital after being diagnosed with cancer four months earlier. Geoffrey will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
Everyone who was lucky enough to know Dad will know he wouldn't want this to be a sombre day, but rather a celebration of his life therefore, please don’t feel obliged to wear black as he would want this to be a colourful affair.
Dad didn't want flowers for his funeral but rather donations to charity. He chose two charities for donations to be made to, the first being Acorns Childrens Hospice for which there is a link above. Alternatively, there will be a donation box on the day which will go to Macmillan Nurses.
After the service, refreshments will be served at Aston Manor Cricket Club (Church Road, Perry Barr, Birmingham, B42 2LB) where Dad played cricket for almost 20 years. This is only a very short distance from the crematorium and everyone is welcome.
