Royston Loveluck
1st September 1929 - 7th July 2025
It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Royston.
Roy, as he was known to his nearest and dearest, leaves behind Meirion, his wife of 67 years, and his two daughters: Rosalind and Helen. He was a wonderful, loving husband, and a caring, hands-on father.
When not in the ballroom with Meirion or at work as an electrical engineer, Roy could be found making wooden toys and games for his daughters, or tending to his beautiful garden. In his later years, he would create beautiful paintings and write heartfelt poetry in his spare time. Classical music was also one of Roy's lifelong passions. He was truly a multi-talented man, who will be missed as much as he is loved by all those who knew him.
He has been welcomed into God's arms in Heaven, and will now be reunited with the mother he lost so very young.
Roy wanted to be remembered as a true gentleman; his legacy as such will live on for lifetimes to come.

A funeral service for Roy will take place at St. Mary Without-The-Walls Church, Handbridge, on August 6th at 10:15. Meirion, Rosalind, and Helen would all love to see you there. After the service, please join the family at Upton Dene Residential Home, where you can share your fondest memories and stories of Roy.
Donations, if so desired, can be made to The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, via the JustGiving link below. Donations to Cancer Research UK may be left in the box set up in the church.
