Beloved Husband, Dad and Grandad who was loved by all who knew him.
It is with great sadness that Rodney's family announces his passing, following a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer earlier this year. Rodney passed away peacefully at his home in Lymington on Wednesday 07th August 2024, surrounded by his family aged 81.
Rodney is survived by his darling wife of 62 years, Pam, their 4 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rodney enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life to keep himself busy. He was often found at car boot sales and antique auctions as an avid coin collector and tinker. Over the years, Rodney amassed an impressive coin collection and spoke about it fondly to anyone willing to listen.
Please join us in remembering Rodney's life on Thursday 29th August 2024 in a funeral service at West Herts Crematorium - North Chapel, High Elms Lane, Watford, WD25 0JS at 15:30.
A celebration of Rodney's life will be held following the Committal at the Bushey Metropolitan Club, Aldenham Road, Bushey, Hertfordshire, WD23 2TR
If desired, donations to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity in memory of Rodney can be made online, or a donation box will be available on the Flower Terrace after the service.
