It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs Margaret Sandra Muir announces her passing after a series of illnesses, on Friday 7th August 2026, at the age of 83.
Sandra passed away peacefully at Westbank Nursing Home in Troon and will be lovingly remembered by her sister Anne, her son Martin, her daughter Pamela and her two grandchildren, Grace and Niamh.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone involved in her care over the last 9 years.
The funeral service will be held at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn, Irvine KA11 4EF at 11:30am on Monday 24th August 2026. Wake to be held at The Gailes Hotel & Spa, Marine Drive, Irvine KA11 5AE from 12:30pm onwards. All are welcome to attend. Family have requested no flowers. In lieu of flowers, please make any charitable donations to The Ayrshire Hospice.
