Peacefully, on 7th October 2024 in the care of Scunthorpe General Hospital, dearly loved husband of Dorothy for 59 years. Loving father of Richard and James, and loving father-in-law of Pia and Vicky. Cherished “Pop” of William and grandad of Oscar.
Following the cremation, a service to celebrate John’s life and love of words and music will be held at St. Andrew’s Church, Burton-upon-Stather on Monday 28th October at 11:30 AM.
Family flowers only please, but donations in John’s memory to Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance may be sent direct to the charity or left at the service.
