It is with great sadness that the family of Melissa Suzanne Lunn (nee Kelly) announce her passing on the 7th of October 2025.
Melissa was a loving wife, a proud and caring mother and a devoted daughter and friend. She will be sorely missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known and loved her.
Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories to cherish. That is certainly true of our darling Melissa.
On the 23rd October there will first be a Requiem Mass held at 12 noon at the St James the Less & St Helen Catholic Church in Colchester, followed by a ceremony at Weeley Crematorium at 2:45pm.
Melissa wanted everyone to wear what they are comfortable in on the day, but expressed her wish that it be colourful please.

After the service at Weeley has concluded the family would like to invite you to join them for tea, refreshments and a celebration of her life from 4:45pm at Great Horkesley Village Hall.
Please let Melissa's friend Wendy know on 07979 044155 if you intend to come to the celebration at Great Horkesley, so the family can gauge numbers to cater for. In doing so please advise if there are any specific dietary requirements or allergies. Thank you.
