Peacefully on the 7th November at Perth Royal Infirmary, surrounded by her loving family, Catherine, aged 87, originally from Tighanrudha, Isle of Gigha. Beloved wife of the late Duncan from Claddach, Portnahaven, Isle of Islay. Cherished mother to Ann, Marion, Nicol, and Donald; much-loved grandmother to many generations, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to all.
A celebration of her life will be held at St. Serf’s Church, Almondbank, on Wednesday 20th November 2024 at 1pm to which all are warmly invited. Family flowers only please. Thereafter to take her final rest back home on the Isle of Gigha. Service at Gigha & Cara Parish Church, on Thursday 21st November 2024 at 12 noon, where all flowers are welcome.
Her final rest will be taken in Kilchattan Cemetery. Service retiring offerings are being welcomed for the Islay Lifeboat at Port Askaig if desired.
